Whitmer's Experience
I started my career as an aviation maintenance technician at Witmer's Aircraft Service in 1997.  During my 18 years there, I worked on routine maintenance and not-so-routine major repairs and alterations. I quickly became the lead technician in all of the aircraft restorations and paint jobs.

Bellanca Viking, Beechcrafts, and Lots More
I have extensive Bellanca Viking experience -- more than anyone currently working as a mechanic on the East Coast. I also have substantial expertise working on Beech Bonanza series airplanes. My experience is not limited to Vikings and Beechcrafts though. I have worked on many other types of piston engine powered fixed wing aircraft.

If you are looking for someone who can handle detailed aircraft wood working, you have come to the right place. This became another one of my areas of specialty during my time at Witmer’s.

I worked at Advanced Wings in Blue Bell in Pennsylvania from 2015 to 2017. My time there added Cirrus to the list of aircraft I have worked on to date.

Training
I got my A and P in 1997 and my IA in 2008. I also completed the ABS Maintenance Academy in 2017.
